Hilltop Manor Bed & Breakfast was erected around 1885.  There is no direct proof of this because in the 1920's, there was a fire in the basement of the courthouse and the deeds were burnt. The date has been estimated by the writings of Dr. Crump which can be found and viewed here in Millersburg at the Victorian House Museum. We also have a picture of the courthouse dating 1875 and the Hilltop Manor can be viewed completed.  Some of the ancestors of Dr. Crump are buried at the Hilltop Cemetery here in Millersburg, just within walking distance.
